Gabriel Jesus leaves the pitch in tears after suffering an injury against Crystal Palace

-The distraught Brazil hotshot, 20, was consoled by Pep Guardiola as Sergio Aguero replaced him in the 23rd minute at Selhurst Park.

-Jesus' first season at City was marred by injury after he broke his metatarsal in February.

He missed two-and-a-half months with the crock and needed crutches to help him recover.
Jesus has played second fiddle to Aguero this season but still scored 12 goals in all competitions.

The injury comes as a huge blow to boss Guardiola, who is on course for an unprecedented Quadruple.

David Silva and Ilkay Gundogan have both been tested in the False Nine position this term but Guardiola is yet to start a match in that way.
