What have Kim and Kanye named their third child?

Kanye and Kim

-It has been compared to that of a train station and a terrestrial television medical drama.

-Following North and Saint, Chicago West was born via surrogate on Monday morning, with mum  Kim waiting until Friday to reveal her name on Twitter.

-The reality TV star tweeted "Chicago West" alongside a link to her website with further details,  including the time of birth as 12.47am on 15 January and the newborn's weight of 7lbs 6oz.

Four-year-old North and two-year-old Saint are the famous couple's other children, and the new arrival has already been given a nickname.

Her mum, 37, wrote in a second tweet, "North, Saint & Chi", and then retweeted a post revealing that Chi was pronounced "shy".

Earlier this week, a statement released on Kardashian West's website said their older children were "thrilled to welcome their baby sister".

"Kanye and I are happy to announce the arrival of our healthy, beautiful baby girl," the statement read.

"We are incredibly grateful to our surrogate who made our dreams come true with the greatest gift one could give, and to our wonderful doctors and nurses for their special care."

Kardashian West opted for surrogacy this time due to health concerns.

Twitter has been ablaze with reaction to the announcement, with some ridiculing the couple's unusual naming conventions.

One asked whether they were "naming humans or giving directions" and another said the name sounded like a train station. Some are disappointed that she wasn't named Wild.

The name appears to have been inspired by Kanye's upbringing, with the rapper having grown up in the Illinois city.
